[Polishing Business Ideas #1]

Opportunities often come by chance. I have frequently found opportunities in products I made out of boredom or while helping others.

The first time I achieved over 10,000 DAU (Daily Active Users) traffic was with a ranking analysis/community service for a game called “Cyphers.” “YOUHA,” a product I made famous at my previous company, started as a simple survey service I made as a birthday gift for a YouTuber I was close to.

These days, I hardly have time to look at code, but I plan to find time or collaborate with people looking for items to execute various ideas in the future. I intend to write down the ideas I come up with whenever I have time and spread them as widely as possible. I think it would be best if someone who could implement them would appear or if we could bring them to reality together, rather than having them disappear written in my notebook.

The item I’ve been thinking about recently is related to English study. I’ve switched all communication at my company to English, but the lack of time and methods to study grammar/expression is the problem I’ve identified. Communicating in English on Slack and being understood by the other party, but frankly, being full of shortcomings no matter how I look at it makes me feel guilty.

My proposed solution is as follows:

[1] Collect all the English Slack messages I send throughout the day via a Slack Bot or API.

[2] Request grammar/expression corrections through the Chat GPT API and receive corrected sentences/key improvement points.

[3] Based on this, generate a report of appropriate length daily and send it via email or Slack every morning.

I’d like to collect messages from other messengers like KakaoTalk and Telegram, but it seems difficult without an API. Email might be possible. Ideally, tracking my keyboard to review every sentence I type would be great, but the problem is with smartphones.

It’s hard to set aside time for writing and getting corrections due to my busy schedule. There’s a strong advantage if I could get feedback on the English conversations I’m forced to have. Plus, since these are sentences actually used in my job, they can be immediately applied the next day.

Moreover, by slightly modifying the questions asked to ChatGPT, it’s possible to extend beyond English grammar/expression to advising on business manners and various other applications.

If this turns into a business, the business model is clear. It would be straightforward if I could charge a monthly subscription fee just slightly more than the GPT API costs.

Is there a similar app? In the past, I used to collect my sentences and entrust them to a correction site called Ediket. Recently, I’ve been entrusting them to ChatGPT.

Working in the 3D business, I’ve neglected AI, but this has given me an opportunity to study it after a while.
